Our Story

From SUDA Health and Right Network to LADI.

LADI was established in 2026, originally under the working name SUDA Health and Right Network, in response to persistent, widening gaps in health access, rights protection, economic opportunity, and food security for young people across Nigeria's rural and crisis-affected communities.

Our founders are public health professionals, human rights advocates, community development practitioners, and governance specialists who share one conviction: sustainable change requires rights-based, community-driven approaches, not parallel systems that create dependency. From day one, LADI has embedded itself inside existing government and community structures rather than working around them.

Vision

A future where every young person in Akwa Ibom can thrive, not just survive.

Mission

Core Values

Ten values, non-negotiable across every program.

Accountability

Transparent and answerable to communities, donors, and the public.

Teamwork

Collaboration and shared purpose, internally and with partners.

Partnership

Lasting change through alliances with government, donors, and civil society.

Integrity

Honesty, consistency, and professionalism in every engagement.

Inclusiveness

Programs accessible to and representative of all segments of society.

Innovation

Creative, adaptive approaches, learning continuously from evidence.

Sustainability

Building capacity and ownership that outlasts any project cycle.

Justice

Confronting structural inequality, poverty and denial of rights alike.

Equity & Inclusion

Actively addressing barriers faced by young people and persons with disabilities.

Respect for Human Rights

Civil, political, economic, social, and reproductive rights as our foundation.

Governance

Strategic oversight, separated from daily operations.

An independent Board of Directors provides strategic direction; an Executive Management team runs day-to-day operations: the internationally recognized standard for NGO governance.
